With his 30 years of logistics experience, Keith has a broad range of understanding within the transportation industry. Mr. Klingenberg also held a wide variety of positions involving legal, collective rate-making and risk management for Holland Motor Express, a premier Central States motor carrier, and Vice-President of Sales for Central Transport, one of our nation's ten (10) largest motor carriers.
He was also a co-owner of Logistic Concepts, Inc., a foremost provider of warehouse management/inventory control software for the commercial public warehousing industry. Prior to a logistics focused insurance career, he served as co-founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of The Total Logistics Control (TLC) Group, Inc., a nationally recognized, dry and temperature-controlled contract logistic services provider.
Keith gives back to his community and industry. He was recently appointed to the American Transportation Research Institute's (ATRI) Research Advisory Committee. Mr. Klingenberg is a member of the Governing Board of the Motor Carrier Insurance Education Foundation.
He has served on various Boards of Advisors for National City Bank and First of America Bank. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Davenport University Foundation, Chairman of the Davenport University Alumni Board, and the Board of Directors for Van Eck Diesel Services, Hydrogen Leasing Company, Inc., Hydrogen Fuel Systems, Inc. and the Leadership Council of Pine Rest Christian Hospital. He served on the International Board of Directors for the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses and on the Board of Directors for the National Perishable Logistic Association.
Education: Keith graduate of Davenport University and the Michigan Military Academy, he holds degrees in Industrial Traffic Management and Sales & Marketing. He is also a Licensed Resident Insurance Producer, Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), and Transportation Risk Specialist (TRS).
